  1. Greetings.
    Grace and Peace.
I hope this comment finds you doing well.
I am writing from the United States and have been following this blog for some time and enjoy it greatly. I have been to Mali twice and enjoy reading your perspectives on the region. I recently received my monthly National Geographic in the mail at my home and there was within its pages an article on Timbuktu (pg 84 Issue January 2011) If you are able and have access, could you maybe comment on the content of this article.

Keep up the great work and thank you again for all the time and energy you put into your work.

    With kindest Regards,

  2. Request to post your article

I work with AfrobeatRadio, a volunteer-run radio show & news site (afrobeatradio.net) based out of NY. We’d love to post your piece: Disquiet in eastern Mauritania. Is that okay if we link back to your blog?

Also let me know if you’d be interested in contributing future pieces to our site. We are trying to expand our list of contributors.

  3. Hello,

We are doing a documentary on Western Sahara and also shooting in Nouadhibou. I have a few questions I would love to run by you about these issues. Do you have a personal email I could reach you?
