Hollow Symbolism

I for one am of the opinion that hollow symbolism should be reserved for a politician’s own country, before he is elected. I don’t seem to be the only one who catches a wondrous whiff of arrogance from Barack Obama’s attempt to give a speech at the Brandenburg Gate?

  1. Good observations. Thanks for keeping an eye on the big picture. Unfortunately (or furtunately for Obama) most of the electorate does not have your gift of perception. McCain seems to have neither time nor money to strike a counterpunch, so Obama scores another little point, arrogance and all.
